TEENS

Defensive driving can lower your Insurance premium and dismiss a traffic ticket.  But check with the courts to ensure you are able to take a Defensive Driving course to dismiss your ticket.

  • Politely request in court your intentions to take Defensive Driving if your violation warrants.  (A valid license, auto insurance and a court fee is required.)  If the court approves, a deadline to complete the course is set.  Register for the defensive course, complete it and print out the Certificate of Completion and Driver record to your next scheduled court date.
